Selena Gomez's international fame as a performer and actress singer is undisputed. Disney's Wizards of Waverly Place, one of the biggest projects in which she participated and which has had the highest success, is her project. The full title of her name is Selena Marie Gomez. Selena was the first born of her mother who was barely sixteen when she reached the time of Selena. In the age of nine, she got her first role in showbiz when she was cast as Gianna on Barney and her Friends. This way she was among the thousands of youngsters who've had the opportunity to interact with the anthropomorphic purple dinosaur that has become so well-known in the world of science fiction. Selena played a role in many episodes of seasons 7 and 8 from 2001 and 2003. Fun fact: Selena was not the only singer who worked on Barney and his Friends at this time; Demi Lovato also was part of the ensemble cast for the show. Selena Gomez left the show and auditioned in several other films and programs however, she did not achieve much success. She had a smaller role as a character in Mini Spies 3 (Spy Kids 3D Game Over) in 2003, and one more as Julie as Julie in Walker Texas Ranger Trial by Fire. The film also gave her the character of Emily Grace Garcia in the 2005 Brain Zapped program for which she wrote a song.
